Our Staff
Managing Director
The BECC’s Managing Director is a qualified Specialist Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years experience working in inner London. Her back ground has enabled her to gain experience in child development, assessment and identify the health needs of children aged 0-10 years old. This included areas such as speech and language assessment, behavioral issues, vaccinations and assessing whether children were reaching their developmental milestones. Not only did she manage a team of nurses to provide this core service but also worked closely with many agencies including doctors, social services and voluntary organizations, to ensure the safety and well-being of each child.
Director
The Director of the School has over 10 years experience with the National Curriculum of England. He has worked in different schools in different parts of the Uk (England and Scotland) and has also worked as a Principal in an international school in Bangkok for 6 years. He has a passion for education and has vast experience working with teachers and children from all over the world. As Principal of the previous school, he was a major contributor to the school becoming fully accredited and will use his experience to assist with the development of The British Children’s Educational Centre.
Nursery Manager
Our Nursery Manager is a critical member of our team. She is one of the main points of contact for all parents and oversees the progression of the children in the Nursery. The Nursery Manager has a dedicated team of Classroom Assistants and working alongside the class teacher to ensure the children are progressing appropriately.
Teachers
Our highly qualified and dedicated team of teachers are all native English speakers. They have many years experience working as teachers across the world and constantly strive to provide a high level of education. We also have qualified Thai teachers who are enthusiastic, patient and caring when delivering the Thai lessons. They take pride in their work and each subject is carefully planned and organised.
Classroom Assistants
Each have many years experience of working in the classroom and are extremely enthusiastic. They are all Thai Nationals with a good English vocabulary.
Our dedicated team of staff work hard to ensure The BECC is a caring and friendly environment. We act professionally at all times, are conscientious and caring. Our recruitment process ensures that all staff are thoroughly vetted, through careful references, their qualifications checked and have a CRB equivalent. All staff are offered regular training, including basic first aid and resuscitation. This ensures that our staff are trained to deal with the many situations that children find themselves in.
Regular in house training takes place on the Continued Professional Development Programme. This occurs during term time and also on specific teacher’s days to ensure that all staff are up to date with the latest educational thinking in line with our school’s policy.
